RECIPES FOR CARE OF THE SKIN OF THE BODY

Women everywhere want to have a healthy looking body. It starts with how you clean and moisturize your whole body, not just your face. There are things you can do to protect your body and make it feel and look better but you must have a conscious attitude about keeping it in good shape. This article provides the recipes of various body care. Part one is about cleansing the body, part two about nourishing and deodorizing the body and part three gives information about the use of essential oils to create your own compositions.

PART I. CLEANSING

A. Body Scrub
Salt Scrub – deep cleansing and toning the skin.
Composition for one use:
Mix 4-5 tablespoons of fine sea salt, half teaspoon of olive oil and a little water to the essential oil of your choice.

PART II. NOURISHING AND DEODORIZING

A. Body oil blends from carrier oils
The oil base and blends (Can be used without added essential oils.)
1. “Rain” to cool and soothe the skin
– 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil
2. “Mediterranean” to soften the skin
– 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
3. To nourish and soften the skin
– 110 ml of avocado oil or choose jojoba
– 10 ml of wheat germ oil…

PART III. PROPERTIES OF ESSENTIAL OILS

The following are the properties of different essential oils that you can use to formulate recipes for skin care. This information is given as to skin type. Remember the basic rule of aromatherapy that only oils of lavender and tea tree can be used without the basics. Rules of using other essential oils and proportions of them to different type bases refer to parts of the methods of application of aromatherapy in the article “AROMATHERAPY APPLICATION METHODS” GUIDE” in the first and second parts of this article.
Anise: For loose and saggy skin. Used for wrinkles. Also used against lice and scabies. It is recommended as a remedy of infectious skin diseases.
Orange: For any type of skin care. Good for oily skin. Especially recommended for sensitive and tired skin. Very good for toning the skin. Apply for water retention and cellulite, eliminates toxins. Helps treat dermatitis. Is used for infants and children…

ESSENTIAL OIL BATH BLEND RECIPES FOR CARE OF THE SKIN OF THE BODY

For normal, oily, dry, aging skin, acne, after exposure to the sun, sun burn, and cellulite.
As I promised, here are recipes for blends of essential oils for the bath for the purpose of skin care. In the recipes there is also a list of essential oils for each skin type. The essential oils need to be added to 1- 2 tablespoons of emulsifier; such as vegetable oil, milk, cream, buttermilk, or honey. The positive effects on the skin will skyrocket. You will also find emulsifier recommendations for the basics. Before bathing, I recommend you read the article, “Application Methods of Aromatherapy”. It contains basic information on the rules of application methods of aromatherapy, including baths with essential oils. To select a suitable oil base, see “IMPORTANCE OF CARRIER OILS“. Remember, essential oil of citrus: bergamot, lemon, orange, tangerine, etc. are phototoxic. Phototoxicity is a reaction caused when essential oils on the skin are exposed to UV light – whether from the sun or from a tanning bed. It is best to avoid exposure for 12 -24 hours after a massage….
