Recipes for Care of the Skin of the Body. Part I. Cleansing.

A. Body Scrub
Salt Scrub – deep cleansing and toning the skin.
Composition for one use:
Mix 4-5 tablespoons of fine sea salt, half teaspoon of olive oil and a little water to the essential oil of your choice.
1. For relaxation add
– 4 drops of lavender essential oil.
2. To stimulate and energize
– 4 drops peppermint essential oil.
3. To warm the body and improve circulation (especially good for problematic cellulite areas)
-2 drops cinnamon or 2 drops of ginger or 2 drops patchouli oil.
Preparation: Place the salt in a container, add essential oil and mix well. Add olive oil and mix well again. Splash a bit of water just to moisten the salt composition.
Application: Gently rub the salt mixture into the skin throughout the body surface. Rinse well.

B. Body Mask
Clay – great skin cleansing product intended to detoxify and refine the skin.
For a mask scrub with salt and cosmetic clay:
Composition for one use:
Mix 2 tablespoons of sea salt, 3 tablespoons of cosmetic clay and 4 tablespoons of water (preferably distilled or purified) or herbal decoction (chamomile, calendula, peppermint or sage). If you use water you can add essential oil recipes for plain scrubs above, or add essential oil or mixture according to your own recipe. I can recommend a few drops of neroli and ylang-ylang oils.
Preparation: Mix salt and clay, add water or herb broth and mix until smooth. If you want to make a thinner mix add a little more water. Add essential oil to the mix if your personal recipe calls for it.
Application: Spread the mixture over the body and leave it on for 5 minutes or until it begins to pull away from the skin. Rinse.

– 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil
– 3-4 drops of sandalwood oil, neroli or carrot seed oil

If you want to make a thinner mix add a little more water. Then add essential oil to the mix.
