Facial Cleansing Oil Blends

NORMAL, DRY, OILY, AGING, or FADING SKIN OF THE FACE

I have started using essential oil cosmetics with a rose water. And what do you think.., crow’s feet around my eyes have disappeared! Much as I tried to obtain such effect by using various creams, nothing happened. Then I began to look for other recipes, and since different skin types require different cleansers, I would like to offer quite a few recipes to fit any taste :-).

ANY TYPE OF SKIN

1.Cleansing oil of Cleopatra. Mix the following oils: 15 ml of olive oil, 30 ml of canola oil, 15 ml of coconut oil, 7 drops of rosemary oil, 6 drops of orange oil, 4 drops of tea tree oil and 3 drops of sage oil. Olive, canola and coconut oils should be mixed on a water-bath so that the coconut oil could be completely dissolved in the other oils.
2.European cleansing oil.For 15 ml of base (12 ml of sweet almond oil, 2 ml of primula oil and 1 ml of wheat germ oil, – in the lack of primula, calendula and wheat germ oils you may use just 15 ml of sweet almond oil) add 2 drops of each of the following oils: frankincense oil, rosewood oil, jasmine oil and camomile oil

NORMAL SKIN

For 15 ml of sweet almond oil add 2 drops of rosemary oil, 2 drops of lavender oil and 1 drop of orange oil

DRY SKIN

1.For 15 ml of base (10 ml of sweet almond oil, 2 ml of primula oil, 2 ml of calendula oil and 1 ml of wheat germ oil, or just sweet almond oil) add: 2 drops of rose oil and 2 drops of neroli oil, 1 drop of jasmine oil and 1 drop of camomile oil.
2.Mediterranean blend. For 15 ml of olive oil add 3 drops of lavender oil and 2 drops of rosemary oil.

OILY SKIN

1.Water cleansing blends. For 15 ml of water add 2 drops of each of the following oils: lemon, sandal tree, mint and cypress.
2.Grape Seed cleansing blend. For 15 ml of grape seed oil add 3 drops of orange oil and 2 drops of sage oil.

PREPARATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The simplest way is to mix at first the base oils and to add essential oils directly in a bottle for storage. Stir well. The bottle should be of dark glass. Store in a cold place, but not in a fridge. Shake before use.
